基于价值塑造的警务英语课程思政教学任务设计——以“公安监所管理警务英语”课程第三单元为例

Designing Ideological and Political Teaching Tasks in Police English Course Based on Value Formation——Take Unit 3 of“Jail Management Oriented English”for Example

警务英语是一门结合英语语言应用与公安专业知识的专业基础课程,除培养学生的语言应用能力外,还应加强培育学生的情感、态度和价值观。本文尝试运用ESP需求分析理论,从听说读写四个维度出发,以“公安监所管理警务英语”第三单元为例进行教学任务设计,探讨基于价值塑造的警务英语课程思政教学的新路径。实践证明,ESP需求分析理论指导下的警务英语课程思政教学,有助于将知识传授、技能培养与铸魂育警进行有机融合,形成具有公安特色的警务英语课程思政教学。

Police English is a professional course combined with English language application and police professional knowledge.In addition to fostering students’language application competency,instructors should strengthen the formation of students’emotional quotient,attitude and value.By using the ESP needs analysis theories,this paper takes Unit 3 of“Jail Management Oriented English”as an example to design teaching tasks from the perspectives of listening,speaking,reading and writing,and this paper explores a new methodology of ideological and political teaching.Practice has proved that the ideological and political teaching in police English course under the guidance of ESP needs analysis theories is conducive to the integration of knowledge teaching,skills training,morals formation in police education.
