专门用途英语分类评析、分支的领域演变及分类探讨 被引量:3

ESP Evolution:A Review of ESP Classification

摘要 本文对专门用途英语的五种分类学说做了简要评析,分析了以往分类的特点和问题,对职业用途英语和学术用途英语所包含的领域演变做了研究,呈现了学术用途英语领域的变化。基于目前专门用途英语的发展情况提出三大分支的划分,并根据是否作为专业科目、学习时间长度和教学内容难度对学科用途英语做了三类划分,对目前国内的学术用途英语分类观点做了讨论和评析。 This article briefly reviews the five classifications of English for Specific Purposes(ESP),analyzes the characteristics and problems of the classifications,and studies the evolution of the fields of English for Occupational Purposes(EOP)and English for Academic Purposes(EAP).It also points out the changes in the field of English for Academic Purposes(EAP).According to the current development of English for Specific Purposes(ESP),this article proposes three divisions of ESP,classifies English for Disciplinary Purposes(EDP)into three categories according to whether it is a major,the time of study and the difficulty of teaching content,and criticizes the current domestic views on the classification of EAP.
