项目依托式国别研究课教学问题及应对策略研究

A Study on the Problems and Their Coping Strategies in the Teaching of Project-based Courses on English-speaking Country Studies

为更好地满足"一带一路"建设对人才的需求,东北某高校英语专业开展了项目依托式英语国家研究课的教学探索。本研究采用定性研究方法,借助访谈、课堂观察和教师会议观察采集研究数据,从项目依托式教学各阶段探究课程教学过程中存在的问题。研究发现,项目依托式国别研究课程在项目前、中、后阶段存在七方面主要问题。针对问题,本文提出了七种应对策略。希望研究结果对改进国别研究课程教学具有启示意义。

To meet the demand for talents in building“the Belt and Road”,a university in Northeast China has provided a series of project-based courses on English-speaking country studies for its English majors.This study aims to explore the problems of the courses,their causes,and the coping strategies.Through classroom observations,interviews and observations of faculty meetings as instruments for data collection,qualitative research was conducted.The study has revealed eight major teaching problems at the pre-project,project and post-project stages.To solve the problems,seven coping strategies were proposed.The results of the study could be enlightening for English majors to conduct country studies intheir courses.
