摘要
基于分布式认知理论,本研究将口语训练APP应用于大学英语口语课外学习,探讨以手机APP为主要学习工具的移动学习方式在大学生课外学习中的可行性。三个教学实验班共计154名学生参与了为期一个学期的教学实验,测试结果显示,该口语训练APP的应用有效提高了大学生英语口语能力。问卷结果也表明学生承认并接受移动学习方式。实验中获得的教学反馈也为教学研究提供了有效的素材。将某口语训练APP应用于大学英语口语课外学习为大学英语教学提供了一个新的视角,是大学英语教学改革的一次有意义的尝试。
Based on the Theory of Distributed Cognition, this paper applies Oral Training APP to college students’ extracurricular oral English learning, and analyzes the feasibility of mobilelearning with smart-phone APP in college students’ extracurricular learning. 154 students from 3 classes participated in the one-semester teaching experiment. The results of tests show that the application of APP has improved college students’ oral English ability. Questionnaires have indicated students’ acceptance of mobile-learning. The teaching feedback obtained in the experiment also has contributed to teachers’ research. Applying APP mobile learning to college English extracurricular learning has provided a new perspective for college English teaching, which is a very meaningful attempt for college English teaching reform.
