There are about 14 precedents in Bai Juyi's Hundreds of Verdicts for adjudicating family ethics cases.These precedents take the personal disputes between father and son,husband and wife,and brothers as the themes,and simulate the cases to settle the lawsuits,filial piety and harmony are the priority principles.Bai Juyi strived to build ethical human relations and maintain family interests,but revealed his ideological weakness.The precedents not only reflect the customs of the Tang Dynasty,but also become an important literature material to study Bai Juyi's family ethics thought.The principles of the ancients in dealing with family cases undoubtedly have enlightenment and reference value for modern people to solve family conflicts and deal with human relations.
