徐芳与方以智交游考述

Research on the Social Intercourse of Xu Fang and Fang Yizhi

徐芳与方以智为同年好友,于1640年订交。明亡后,徐、方二人因心向故国,不仕清廷,皆成为遗民僧。逃禅后,二人在困窘之际彼此诉苦、互相慰藉。徐芳数次襄助方以智修建精舍、刻印著述。徐芳还屡次劝说方以智逃名,从而全身远祸。此外,二人不仅互赠诗文,还多次共谈异事。

Xu Fang and Fang Yizhi are close friend of same year who pass the entrance chin-shih examination,and became close in 1640.After the fall of Ming Dynasty,Xu Fang and Fang Yizhi were unwilling to be an official in the Qing Dynasty because of their heart to the homeland,so they became“the Diehard Monks”.After escaping into Zen,they told each other their sufferings and comforted each other in times of distress.Xu Fang assisted Fang Yizhi several times in the construction of a fine house and printing of his writings.Xu Fang also repeatedly persuaded Fang Yizhi to escape fame and thus stay out of trouble.In addition,they not only gave each other poems and articles,but also talked about strange things together many times.
