略论隋文帝时期的恶钱问题

On the Problem of Bad Money in the Period of Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty

隋朝刚刚建立,隋文帝就面临民间私铸和前朝旧钱流通的问题,对此隋文帝分步骤采取了边关定样、禁旧钱和管控铸币材料的措施加以解决,结束了北魏以来币制混乱的局面。全国统一之后,由于隋文帝一直没有意识到地方铸钱的不可控性,导致盗铸问题反复出现,而此时的隋文帝采取了激进的措施,用严刑峻法抑制恶钱的发展。隋文帝整治恶钱问题既有积极的效果,也存在很多问题,但总的来说他对整治恶钱问题有较大的贡献。

Shortly after the Sui Dynasty had just been established,Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty was faced with the problem of private casting and the circulation of old money in the former Dynasty.To tackle this problem,Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty took steps to settle the samples at the border,ban the old money,and control the circulation of casting materials,ending the chaos of the currency system since the Northern Wei Dynasty.After the unity of the country,Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty failed to realize the uncontrollability of local money casting,which led to the repeated occurrence of secret casting.Then,Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty took radical measures to restrain the development of bad money with severe punishments.Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty had both positive effects and many problems in rectifying the bad money,but generally speaking,he made great contributions to the rectification of bad money.
