Preventing Risks,Protecting Security,and Maintaining Stability:The Centennial Evolution and Realistic Path of the Political and Legal Work Led by the Communist Party of China

中国共产党成立百年来,特别是新中国成立七十多年来,中国特色社会主义政法工作体系的形成经历了长期的变革、完善与发展。党的二十大在以中国式现代化推进中华民族伟大复兴的新的历史起点上为新时代政法工作指明了方向、提出了要求。在当前,梳理中国共产党领导政法工作的百年历史,总结党领导政法工作的经验,对新时代更好地加强和完善党对政法工作的全面领导具有重要意义。以党的百年历史不同发展阶段为中心,可以重点针对党领导政法工作的历史源流进行系统性考察,其中包括新民主主义革命时期党对政法工作的重要探索,新中国成立以来一系列政法制度的形成,以及党的十八大以来所取得的党领导政法工作的重要成就,并在此基础上阐发新时代党领导政法工作的现实理路,进而推动中国特色社会主义政法工作体系更加完善,更好地担负政法机关在全面建设社会主义现代化国家进程中防风险、保安全、护稳定的重要使命。

Since the founding of the CPC a hundred years ago,especially since the founding of New China more than 70 years ago,the formation of the socialist political and legal work system with Chinese characteristics has undergone long-term reform,improvement and development.The 20th CPC National Congress pointed out the direction and requirements for political and legal work in the new era at the new historical starting point of promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization.At present,sorting out the hundred year history of the CPC in leading the political and legal work and summarizing the experience of the CPC in leading the political and legal work are of great significance to better strengthen and improve the overall leadership of the political and legal work by CPC in the new era.Focusing on different stages of the CPC’s centennial history,we can focus on the historical evolution of the CPC’s leadership of political and legal work,including the CPC’s important exploration of political and legal work during the New Democratic Revolution,the formation of a series of political and legal systems since the founding of New China,and the important achievements of the CPC’s leadership of political and legal work since the 18th National Congress of the Party,On this basis,we will explain the practical way for the CPC to lead the political and legal work in the new era,and further promote the improvement of the socialist political and legal work system with Chinese characteristics,so as to better shoulder the important mission of preventing risks,protecting security,and maintaining stability for the political and legal organs in the process of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way.
