摘要 词汇附带习得研究多聚焦通用词汇,较少关注学术词汇。本研究采用拉丁方实验方法,探讨阅读任务类型和词汇水平对学术词汇附带习得的影响。受试为83名非英语专业大学生,分为较高和较低两个词汇水平组,阅读任务分为填空、简答和翻译三种类型。研究发现:(1)阅读任务类型显著影响学习者的学术词汇附带习得效果,认知加工层次深且投入量大的翻译任务习得效果最佳;(2)较高和较低两个词汇水平组的学习者均能附带习得学术词汇,但其保持效果均不理想;(3)任务类型和词汇水平对学术词汇附带习得的影响无显著交互作用。 Studies on Incidental Vocabulary Acquisition mainly concentrate on general vocabulary,with academic vocabulary rarely noticed.This paper explores the effects of reading task types and vocabulary levels on the incidental acquisition of academic vocabulary by using Latin Square Design experiment.83 participants of non-English majors are divided into intermediate-high and intermediatelow vocabulary level groups,and reading task types are categorized into three types:gap filling,short-answer and translation.The findings are:(1)Reading task types significantly affect the incidental acquisition of academic vocabulary,and the translation task with deep cognitive processing level and large involvement has the best effect;(2)both vocabulary level groups are able to acquire academic vocabulary,but the retention is not ideal;(3)there is no significant interaction on incidental acquisition of academic vocabulary between task type and vocabulary level.
