摘要
本研究运用质性研究中的现象学研究法,考察了国内18名大学生在经历定向动机流时的体验特征。研究发现:二语定向动机流体验具有一定的系统性,在启动、维持和终结阶段呈现出鲜明的体验特征。结合阶段性特征差异,本研究归纳出三条中国本土化的大学生定向动机流发展轨迹,有助于深入揭示定向动机流体验时复杂动态的特征。本研究对于调动学生们学习外语的积极性具有较强的参考价值,对于激发学生们的学习自主性具有重要启示意义。
This article reports on the findings of a phenomenological study of unique experiences of DMCs among 18 college students in China.The wealth of data obtained in the research shows that L2 DMC is a systematic process with distinctive launch stage,maintenance stage and closure stage.Considering various experiential features of different stages,this study summarizes three developmental trajectories of Chinese L2 DMCs among college students,which helps reveal the complex and dynamic features of this experience.The results shed some light on how to mobilize students’enthusiasm for learning foreign languages.The results also offer significant implications for how teachers could stimulate students’learning autonomy in EFL settings.
