马来西亚非华裔中文学习者的中国形象认知研究 被引量:1

A study on the conception of China’s national image by non-Chinese mandarin learners in Malaysia

摘要 马来西亚非华裔中文学习者的人数日益增多,通过对当地高校非华裔中文学习者的调查,可以从多个维度探究其中国形象认知状况。研究表明,调查对象的中国整体形象认知较好,其中中国经济贡献最大,后续依次为国民、文化、政府和产品形象。非华裔群体的中国形象认知有自身鲜明的特点,对中国国民和产品的认识显著较好,而文化形象的认知有待增强。总体上,马来西亚中文作为二语教学的发展时间尚短,中文学习作为中国形象传播渠道的作用尚未充分发挥,其传播效果受到社会环境、家庭背景和教学内部因素的影响。非华裔中文教学需强化华人社群与主体学习动机的积极作用,进一步丰富中文课程设置与文化教学活动;孔子学院的传播应与当地华文教育体系形成互补,致力于代言当代中国形象。 The number of non-Chinese Mandarin learners in Malaysia is increasing.By a survey of these learners in local universities,it is possible to explore their perception of China’s national image from multiple dimensions.The survey shows that the respondents have a better understanding of China’s overall image,with her economy contributing the most,followed by citizen,cultural,government and product images.Their conception has its own characteristics:the acceptance of the Chinese people and products is significantly better,while that of the culture needs to be improved.In general,the development of teaching Mandarin as an L2 in Malaysia is still inadequate.The positive role of Mandarin learning has not been fully exerted.Its communication effect is somehow offset by the social environment,family background and factors of teaching.Mandarin education there needs to bring into full play the role of the local Chinese community and motivate the learners via multiple ways.The Chinese curriculum and cultural activities in universities should be enriched,and the work of the Confucius Institute should step up the image of contemporary China.
