A New Cultivar of Daylily‘Qiuyi’

萱草新品种‘秋意’是以常绿萱草种质为母本,以多品种混合花粉授粉后经实生选种育成。叶丛高50~65 cm,分蘖力强,成丛快。花被片橙黄色,直径9.5~12.0 cm,内花被片有花斑。杭州地区始花期为5月2日左右,有较强连续开花能力,末花期在10月下旬。在杭州地区表现冬季常绿,抗病虫能力强,适合长江流域栽培应用。

The new cultivar of daylily‘Qiuyi’is selected from the seedlings of the evergreen daylily after pollination with mixed pollen from other cultivars.The leaves of this cultivar are 50-65 cm high,with strong tillering ability and fast forming clumps.The perianth is orange yellow,with a diameter of 9.5-12.0 cm,and the inner perianth has flecks.The initial flowering period in Hangzhou is around May 2nd,with strong continuous flowering ability,and the final flowering period is in late October.In winter,it shows evergreen characteristics in Hangzhou,with strong resistance to pests and diseases,suitable for cultivation in the Yangtze River Basin.
