西瓜砧木用南瓜新品种‘皖砧14号’

A New Pumpkin Cultivar‘Wanzhen 14’for Watermelon Rootstocks

‘皖砧14号’系以自交系“NG-98-26”为母本,自交系“DG-6”为父本,杂交选育成的中果型西瓜专用砧木南瓜新品种。与中果型西瓜嫁接亲和力强,成苗率高,缓苗快;坐果率高,增产效果明显;抗枯萎病,耐低温弱光;嫁接苗生长后期不易早衰;适于长江以北早春季节中果型西瓜嫁接栽培。

‘Wanzhen14’is a new watermelon rootstock cultivar developed by crossing the high-generation inbred pumpkin lines“NG-98-26”as female parent,and high-generation inbred pumpkin lines“DG-6”as male parent.The rootstock has a well-developed root system and stable plant growth.Its grafting has good compatibility and high survival rate.Grafted watermelon has high fruit setting rate,resulting in a significant increase in yield.Grafted watermelon also has strong resistance to wilt disease and low temperature and weak light.The grafted watermelon will not get premature senility in late growth stage.It is suitable for grafted cultivation for medium fruit watermelon in the northern region of the Yangtze River in Anhui.
