A New Rhododendron Cultivar‘Taihang Xinxing’

高山杜鹃新品种‘太行新星’由园艺栽培品种‘红河谷之星’的突变体培育获得。该品种花朵新颖奇特,花冠鲜红色,裂片为5裂,裂片内有深红色的斑纹,花筒内壁为淡粉渐变色,花药为浅棕色,耐寒且耐热,抗病力强。

The new Rhododendron cultivar‘Taihang Xinxing’was cultivated from the mutant of the horticultural cultivar‘Honghe Valley Star’.It has novel and peculiar flower,five split lobes on the bright red corollas,dark red stripes in the throat of the corollas,pale pink gradient color on the inner wall of the flower tube,and the collor of anthers are light brown.It has cold and heat resistant growth habits and great resistance to diseases.
