文冠果新品种‘小珍珠’

A New Xanthoceras sorbifolium Cultivar‘Xiaozhenzhu’

‘小珍珠’是从文冠果实生苗中筛选出的观赏和果用兼用型新品种。小乔木,生长势中等;圆柱形花序,顶生花序轴长度中等,侧生花序轴较短,可孕花序多,绝大多数花雄蕊败育;单瓣花,内卷,花少开或近不开放,花冠包裹于萼片中,呈圆球形、椭圆形或不规则球形,直径较小,珍珠状;花期较晚且长。结果数量多,果实较大,种子黑褐色,平均千粒质量1840 g;可在黄河中下游地区栽植。

‘Xiaozhenzhu’is a new ornamental and fruit-use cultivar selected from Xanthoceras sorbifolium seedlings.Small trees with medium growth potential,cylindrical inflorescence,middle length of terminal inflorescence axis,short lateral inflorescence axis,abortion of most stamens.The petals are single,hardly open,and curled inward.The corolla is wrapped in sepals,round,oval or irregular,with small diameter and pearl shape.The flowering period is relatively late and long.It has high yield and large fruit.The seeds are dark brown,and thousand seed weight is 1840 g.It can be widely planted in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River.
