粗肋草属花卉新品种‘红剑’

A New Aglaonema Cultivar ’Hongjian’

‘红剑’粗肋草是由‘如意’组培群体中的芽变育成的中株型观赏新品种。叶狭长圆形,先端锐尖,深粉红至深红色约占叶面积的75%~90%,叶面和叶缘具绿色和深黄绿色斑块,倒三成熟叶平均长17.2 cm、宽7.1 cm,叶色鲜艳,观赏价值高。自然花期11月下旬至翌年3月。适合广东省设施栽培。

Aglaonema ’Hongjian’ is a new ornamental cultivar with medium plant type,which is selected from a bud mutation found among a population of tissue-cultured Aglaonema ’Red valentine’ plants.The leaves are narrow,oblong,and the shape of apex of the leaves is strongly acute. The upper side of leaf blade is dark pink to dark red,accounting for about 75% to 90% of the total area of leaf blade. There are green and dark yellow green blotches at margin and throughout the leaf blade. The third mature leaves from top are 17.2 cm in length and 7.1 cm in width on average. ’Hongjian’ has bright leaves and high ornamental value. The natural flowering period is from late November to next March. ’Hongjian’ is suitable for facility cultivation in Guangdong Province.
