木芙蓉新品种‘金秋颂’

A New Hibiscus mutabilis Cultivar ’Jinqiusong’

木芙蓉新品种‘金秋颂’是以‘单瓣白’为母本、‘牡丹粉’为父本进行杂交,从杂交后代中选出的新品种。花冠半球形,直径8~12 cm,花朵盛开后由粉色向紫红色渐变,重瓣,多花芯,花瓣较大且完整,不结实,花期10月。树势强健,且病虫害少,可作为特色园林观赏树种。

’Jinqiusong’ is a new Hibiscus mutabilis cultivar developed by crossing ’Danbanbai’ as female parent and ’Mudanfen’ as male parent. The flowering is in October. The flower is hemispherica,8–12 cm in diameter,with large double petals and many flower cores. The color changes from pink to purplish red as the flowers bloom. There is no seed. ’Jinqiusong’ can be used as a characteristic ornamental tree because of beautiful flowers,fewer pests.
