秋海棠新品种‘涟漪’是从巴马秋海棠(Begonia bamaensis)×龙虎山秋海棠(B. umbraculifolia)的F_(1)代群体中选出的。栽培适应性较强,生长旺盛。叶片大,宽卵形或近圆形,叶面皱纹沿叶脉凹凸明显,沿主脉具白色斑点。冬春季开花,花被片粉红色。

The new Begonia cultivar named ’Ripple’ was cultivated and selected from F_(1) hybrids(B. bamaensis × B. umbraculifolia). Its leaf blade is large with a wide-oval or suborbicular shape.Meanwhile,the leaf exhibits a rugulose morphology with obviously concave-convex grains along its veins.Furthermore,white patches are found along the main veins. The cultivar also shows strong cultivation adaptability and grows vigor. The cultivar flowers with a pink perianth in both spring and winter.
