A New Ornamental Lotus Cultivar‘Like Fire Time’

观赏荷花‘似火年华’是从以‘中美友谊牡丹莲’为母本,‘大紫玉’为父本的杂交后代筛选出的新品种。植株高大,着花繁密,花蕾为圆桃形,花色深红,重瓣,花态碟状,雄蕊部分瓣化,雌蕊发育正常,能部分结实,莲蓬倒圆锥形,成熟的莲子椭圆形,黑色。

Ornamental lotus‘Like Fire Time’is a new cultivar selected from the hybrid of‘Sino-American Friendship Peony Lotus’as mother and‘Daziyu’as father.The plant type is tall-sized,many petals,the flower buds are round peach-shaped,while the whole flowers are dish-shaped,with double petals,stamens are part petalized,pistil development is normal,part of them can seeded,seedpod of the lotus is top-shaped,ripe lotus seeds is ellipse-shaped and black.
