A New Small-medium Sized Watermelon Cultivar‘Guazhibao 6’with Thin Skin

中小果型薄皮西瓜新品种‘瓜之宝6号’是以韩115为母本,台1137为父本杂交而成。果实长椭圆形,果形指数1.38,单瓜质量3.2kg,果皮厚0.8mm,硬脆,耐裂,绿色,覆墨绿齿条带;果肉红色,中心可溶性固形物含量12.1%,边部可溶性固形物含量9.9%,肉质清香甜爽。正常适宜条件下全生育期98~108 d,生长稳健,较耐低温弱光。

‘Guazhibao 6’,a new thin skin and small-medium sized watermelon hybrid,was crossed by Han 115 as female parent and Tai 1137 as male parent.The fruit is oblong shape with a fruit index of 1.38,and normally a single fruit is 3.2 kg.Rind thickness is 0.8 mm.The peel is crisp and hard,not easy to crack,displaying green with dark green strip.The fresh is red,with 12.1%central solid sugar and 9.9%edge solid sugar.The taste is pleasant and sweet.It takes 98-108 d for the full growth period if the culitvar is planted in suitable ecological-environment with appropriate cultivation measures.The plant grows strongly and can be tolerant to low temperature and weak light.
