A New Spinach Cultivar‘Hubo 6’

菠菜新品种‘沪菠6号’是由抗病耐热的雌性系‘SSM08-1-38’为母本,耐寒抗病的雌雄异株高代自交系‘S502-3-9-46’为父本杂交育成。中早熟,植株长势旺盛,直立性强,生长速度快,播种后40 d左右可采收。叶片圆尖,平展,深绿色,亮丽有光泽,叶肉厚。平均产量17000 kg·hm^-2,田间对霜霉病不敏感,耐抽薹,适于保护地和露地栽培。

‘Hubo 6’is a new spinach F1 hybrid developed by crossing’SSM08-1-38’as female parents and’S502-3-9-46’as male parents.It is a medium-early maturing cultivar with vigorous plant growth and strong erectness.It grows fast and can be harvested about 40 days after sowing.Its leaves are round and pointed,flat,dark green,bright and lustrous,and thick,and the average yield amounts up to 17000 kg·hm^-2.It has resistance to downy mildew and bolting in field trial,and is suitable for cultivation in protected and open fields.
