移居型老年听障群体应急汉英口译服务研究

Study on Chinese-English Emergency Interpreting Service for the Immigrant Elderly with Hearing Impairment

本研究以移居中国且英语为母语的老年听障群体为研究对象,以语用浮现模型为研究理据,分析影响该群体应急信息接收和表达的因素,对轻度、中度和重度信息弱势的移居型老年听障群体提出相应的汉英口译策略。在应急事件口译中,口译员需要对轻度群体使用积极词汇和简单句,对中度群体使用积极词汇、简单句、大音量加手势,对重度群体重复表达积极词汇、耳边大音量和场景动作辅助,以此实现向该群体准确传达应急信息,减少应急事件损害的目的。

Taking the English-speaking elderly with hearing impairment who have already immigrated to China as the study object,the Emergentist Model of Pragmatics as the theoretical basis,this study analyzes the factors affecting the reception and expression of emergency information,and put forward the corresponding Chinese-English interpretation strategies for groups with mild,moderate and severe information weakness.In emergency interpretation,interpreters need to use positive words and simple sentences for mild group,positive words,simple sentences,loud volume and gestures for moderate group,repeated positive words,loud volume and scene action for severe group,so as to accurately convey emergency information to them and reduce the damage in emergency events.
