作为一部规范性的词典,《现代汉语词典》不仅使读者正确地理解词典中所收的各个条目,还要使读者能正确地运用这些条目。这是规范性词典的两项重要任务,缺一不可。本文结合实例在收词、注音、释义等各个方面进行说明,并论述辞书规范与语言规范的关系。

As a prescriptive dictionary,Contemporary Chinese Dictionary not only enables its readers to understand each items correctly,but also instructs them to use them appropriately.These two aims of the prescriptive dictionary are of equal importance and neither is dispensable.This article tries to expound this argument with examples on entry inclusion,phonetic notation and definition etc.It also demonstrates the correlation of dictionary standards and linguistic norms.
