扬州市医疗机构护理人员锐器盒使用现状调查

Investigation on application of sharps containers among nursing personnel in medical institutions in Yangzhou city

目的了解扬州市医疗机构锐器盒使用现状,为护理人员的职业防护提供依据。方法2021年9月-2022年4月,采用便利抽样法,以扬州市24所医院的护理人员为调查对象,其中三级医院9所、二级医院6所、一级医院9所。用纸质调查问卷和电子调查问卷调查护理人员的基本情况、锐器盒使用情况、锐器伤发生情况。结果共调查217名护理人员,有162名在执业生涯中共发生571次锐器伤,发生例次率为352.47%。在过去1年内发生锐器伤上报情况比较差异有统计学意义(χ^(2) =27.671,P<0.001)。护理人员所在医院的等级与是否参与单位开展的锐器伤相关教育活动比较差异有统计学意义(χ^(2) =17.904,P<0.05)。不同工作年限的护理人员锐器伤发生率比较差异无统计学意义(χ^(2) =5.214,P>0.05)。不同部位的锐器伤发生频次差异有统计学意义(χ^(2) =550.201,P<0.001),对护理人员造成的影响差异有统计学意义(χ^(2) =138.920,P<0.001)。结论扬州市医疗机构护理人员在使用锐器盒过程中仍有不规范操作,锐器伤发生率高,职业暴露风险大。

Objective To understand the current situation of sharp instrument box use in medical institutions in Yangzhou city,so as to provide basis for the occupational protection of nursing staff.Methods From September 2021to April 2022,nursing staff from 24hospitals in Yangzhou city,including 9tertiary hospitals,6secondary hospitals,and 9primary hospitals,were surveyed using convenience sampling method.A paper-based questionnaire and an electronic questionnaire were used to survey nursing staff on basic information,sharps box use,and occurrence of sharps injuries.Results A total of 217nursing practitioners were investigated,162of them had 571sharp force injuries in their practice career,the incidence was 352.47%.There was significant difference in the reported incidence of sharp instrument injuries in the past year(χ^(2) =27.671,P<0.001).There was significant difference between nursing practitioners'hospital grade and whether they participated in educational activities related to sharp instrument injuries(χ^(2) =17.904,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of sharp instrument injuries among nursing practitioners with different working years(χ^(2) =5.214,P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the frequency of sharp instrument injuries in different parts(χ^(2) =550.201,P<0.001),and differences in the impact on nursing practitioners(χ^(2) =138.920,P<0.001).Conclusion Nursing staff in medical institutions in Yangzhou city still have irregular operations in the use of disposable sharps boxes and other processes,with a high incidence of sharps injuries and a high risk of occupational exposure.
