Conversational Interaction, Social Action and Positionally Sensitive Grammar——Review of Grammar in Everyday Talk: Building Responsive Actions

文章分别从作者的背景、研究的缘起和各章主要内容等方面对Thompson等2015年合著出版的《日常言谈中的语法:如何构建回应行为》(Grammar in Everyday Talk:Building Responsive Actions)一书做了详细介绍。并且从语法研究的社会互动观、对会话序列位置敏感的语法观和注重言谈交际过程研究等方面评价了该书的理论贡献。最后通过对近些年来汉语互动语言学领域相关研究的简介,总结了该书在研究方法和范式上给予汉语语言学研究的启示。

This paper reviews Grammar in Everyday Talk:Building Responsive Actions,which is coauthored by Sandra A.Thompson,Barbara A.Fox and Elizabeth Couper-Kuhlen,and published by Cambridge University Press in 2015.This review provides the background of the authors,the origin of the research presented in this book and major findings in each chapter.It also makes a comment on the theoretic contribution of this book from the perspective of social interaction and conversational process.Furthermore,methods and the significance of this book are summarized,which will enlighten interactionally-oriented researchers of Chinese linguistics.
