A Khotanese Document Kept in the Museum of Renmin University of China

中国人民大学博物馆收藏了一批于阗语世俗文书,约有一百余件。本文仅对其中一件的文书进行转写,~①并仅对其中的词语做简单的分析。这件文书涉及唐朝官员与当地王室共治的情形。守官召集有案情的人前来,具体处理结果在本件文书中未提及。

A collection of Khotanese secular documents is kept in the Museum of Renmin University of China. The number of the documents amounts to more than a hundred. This paper transcribes and translates one of them, with a brief analysis of words. This official document seems to have come to existence during a period when the Khotanese society was jointly governed by officials of the Tang dynasty and the local royal family. A Khotanese official with the title ?au summoned people who had appealed to the Khotanese king for legal help after the Chinese "Hvū Syai" discharged his duty.
