The Process of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Australia——An Interview with Professor Lin Ziqiang,President of Australian Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society

中医传入澳大利亚已有上百年历史。经过一代又一代澳大利亚中医人的努力,澳大利亚已成为最早对中医进行立法保护的西方国家。其中澳大利亚中医药针灸学会联合会会长林子强教授对澳大利亚中医立法的推动做出了巨大贡献,有"澳洲中医立法之父"之称。以"中医药在澳大利亚的昨天、今天与明天"为题对林子强教授进行了访谈,内容包括澳大利亚的中医立法过程、当前澳大利亚中医为争取进入澳洲全民医保覆盖系统做出的努力以及疫情期间和疫后澳大利亚中医的发展展望等,以期对中医药文化与技术的国际化传播和发展有一定的启发。

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has been introduced into Australia for more than a hundred years.Through the efforts of generations of TCM doctors in Australia,Australia has become the first Western country to legislate for the protection of TCM.Among them,Professor Lin Ziqiang,president of Australian Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Society,played a vital role in promoting the legislation of TCM in Australia,known as the father of legislation of traditional Chinese medicine in Australia.The author conducted an interview with Professor Lin Ziqiang,on the topic of“The Process of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Australia”,including the process of TCM legislation in Australia,the current efforts of TCM to strive for Medicare in Australia,and the prospect of TCM during and after the epidemic in Australia,which has some enlightenment to the international spread and development of TCM culture and technology.
