On Aug 1,Lin Songtian,president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries,met with Siddharth Chatterjee,the UN’s resident coordinator in China.The two sides had friendly and indepth exchanges on the United Nations’contribution to China’s development,China’s achievements in development,the country’s policies for cooperation with Africa and their results and other topics of common interest.
