Ni Jun,chief manufacturing officer of China power battery manufacturer Contemporary Amperex,said recently that Contemporary Amperex is discussing with a European partner to establish several electric car battery recycling stations in Europe,and is also looking for a partner to build power battery recycling stations in North America.Ni Jun said that Contemporary Amperex is already the largest power battery recycling company in the world.The recovery rate of nickel,cobalt and manganese is over 99.3%,and the recovery rate of lithium is also over 99.2%."We believe recycling is a must,otherwise what should we do with these metals when a car is scrapped?Waste batteries will pollute the soil environment."
