The Portrait of Lu Jianzeng in His Later Years is a small,rough,and simple sketch in white created by an unknown artist,and which surfaced after Lu Jianzeng's death.Lu Jianzeng's third son,Lu Mo,received it as a gift while traveling,and subsequently invited his father's literary friends to comment on it.Facing the small portrait of Lu Jianzeng in his later years,looking like a“snow-covered”,“pale crane”,everyone thought that the portrait was imbued with political undertones,which aroused endless sighs.The work praises Lu Jianzeng's political conduct and virtuous charm.There viewer is confronted with a strong sentimental atmosphere while remembering Lu Jianzeng.
