摘要
本文以比利时皇家中部非洲博物馆为案例,探讨了博物馆去殖民化的管理问题。本文通过实地调研、访谈等方法,分析了该博物馆在去殖民化进程中所面临的挑战,以及管理团队所采取的改革措施。研究发现,去殖民化不仅仅是文物归还和展陈调整,更需要从管理层面进行深入思考和实际行动,包括重新定义博物馆的核心业务、修复博物馆的主体建筑、调整博物馆展示的藏品、重塑博物馆的品牌,以及让更多的非裔人士参与博物馆的各项活动。本文为其他博物馆去殖民化过程提供了借鉴和参考,也对博物馆的文化管理学研究提出了新的课题。
This study explores the management issues of decolonizing museums using the Royal Museum of Central Africa in Belgium as a case study.Through field research and interviews,the challenges faced by the museum in the decolonization process and the reform measures taken by the management team were analyzed.The study found that decolonization requires deep thinking and practical action at the management level,which includes redefining the museum's core business,repairing the main building of the museum,adjusting the collections displayed in the museum,reshaping the museum's brand,and encouraging more participation by people of African descent in the museum's activities.This study provides a reference for other museums in the decolonization process and also raises new issues for the study of cultural management in museums.
