试论艺术与科学的融合

On the Integration of Art and Science

当代互联网、大数据和人工智能等技术手段介入艺术领域,使得长期以来被称为"两种文化"的艺术和科学,尝试联姻,挑战着既有的艺术认知和相应的知识建构。本文认为构成艺术和科学之间数字关联的基元是信息,人类的大脑则是过滤器,必然产生"事实"与"观念"的错位和区分。反思科学和艺术概念的由来,既要借助词源学,也必须置于"事实"和"观念"的演化路径中,从而发现人类的造物行为才是文化之起源,也是艺术信息之起源,是人类观察、探索宇宙的开始,艺术乃"科学之母"。艺术和科学的脱离只是发生在近代,随着人工智能模拟神经网络,重新将两者链接,艺术和科学作为人类认知的两种倾向重归统一性,必然对艺术治理和艺术管理提出新的需求。

Nowadays,technologies such as Internet,Big Data and Artificial Intelligence,are involved in the field of art,making art and science,which has long been called"The Two Cultures",try to make an alliance,challenging the existing art conception and knowledge construction.In this paper,it is argued that the basic element that constitutes the digital connection between art and science is information,and the human brain is the filter that inevitably produces the dislocation and distinction between"fact"and"opinion".To reflect on the origin of the concepts of science and art,we should not only rely on etymology,but also put them in the evolutionary path of"facts"and"opinion".We will discover that human creation behaviour is the origin of culture,the origin of artistic information,and the beginning of human observers’exploration of the universe.Art is the"mother of science".The separation of art and science only occurred in modern times.With Artificial Intelligence simulating neural networks and re-linking the two,art and science,as the two tendencies of human cognition,return to unity,which is bound to put forward new requirements for art governance and art management.
