With the vigorous development of the intelligent connected car industry,driven by the wave of technology,the Internet of vehicles technology is changing day by day.In this process,the issue of personal data protection has become increasingly prominent and cannot be ignored.In order to meet this challenge,the European Data Protection Board(EDPB)has issued the Guidelines on Personal Date Protection for Intelligent Connected Vehicles,which analyzes the potential data security risks in connected vehicles and puts forward detailed strategies to address them,setting a new benchmark for the industry’s regulation and accountability.It is of great significance for China to build and improve the personal data protection system of the Internet of vehicles by deeply studying and drawing lessons from the highlights of the Guidelines and examining its possible omissions from multiple perspectives.
