《臝虫录》明刻本两种合论

On the Two Editions of Luochong Lu in the Ming Dynasty

《臝虫录》现存明嘉靖二十九年(1550)静德书堂刻本《新编京本臝虫录》二卷和明万历二十一年(1593)“格致丛书”刻本《新刻臝虫录》四卷,均是图文本,两本文字和图像比较接近。明清文献著录、引用《臝虫录》的不多,值得注意的是朝鲜文献多次引用,并且显示出内容更为丰富的《臝虫录》存在的可能。明代后期日用全书的《诸夷门》有多种写明了来源于《京本臝虫录》或《北京校正臝虫录》,应和现存《新编京本臝虫录》有所关联。而现存《新刻臝虫录》似乎有可能来自日用全书的《诸夷门》,不过此书却直接影响了明代后期知名的版画书《三才图会·人物》的异域部分。《新编京本臝虫录》一类书籍以及包含《诸夷门》的日用全书大量发行,则说明《臝虫录》在明代后期的大众社会的广泛流行,丝毫不亚于《异域志》。

The extant edition of Luochong Lu by Jingde Bookstore in the 29^(th)year of Jiajing(1550)of the Ming Dynasty,which includes two volumes and named Xinbian Jingben Luochong Lu and four volumes from Gezhi Congshu in the 21^(st)year of Wanli(1593)of Ming Dynasty,with the name Xinke Luochong Lu,both of which are pictorial texts and have similar characters and images.In the Ming and Qing Dynasties,this book was seldom recorded or recommended.It's noteworthy that it was cited many times in the Joseon literatures,and this fact shows the possibility of the existence of Luochong Lu with more abundant contents.In the late Ming Dynasty,Zhuyimen of some daily-used books of stated sources of Jingben Luochong Lu or Beijing Jiaozheng Luochong Lu,which should be related to the extant Xinbian Jingben Luochong Lu.It seems that the extant Xinke Luochong Lu may come from Zhu yimen of some daily-used books,but this book has a direct impact on the Renwu part of the well-known book Sancai Tuhui in the late Ming Dynasty.The large publication of Xinbian Jingben Luochong Lu and the daily-used books including the part of Zhu yimen shows that the book Luochong Lu was more popular than Yiyu Zhi in the late Ming Dynasty.
