摘要
姚燧为有元一代文章大家,他在元初文坛普遍宗欧的格局下以学韩愈自振,取得了一定的文学实绩。不过姚燧学韩并未扭转宗欧格局,主要在于其"文气"之说受理学思维制约不能彻底贯彻。姚燧受姚枢、许衡影响,在性理之学层面有不错的造诣,但他并不认同乃师的作文害道之说,而是提出"文章以道轻重,道以文章轻重"的观点。姚燧的文章观念深受杨奂、元好问影响而上承金源儒学。作为理学阵营中的人物,他对金源"治道文辞"之学的留恋,恰好体现了元初北方儒学两大阵营之间的学术涵化。
Yao Sui is one of the most famous writers in the Yuan era.While the popular role model was Ou-yang Xiu(1007-1072 AD)of the Nortern Sung era,Yao Sui followed the style of the late Tang scholar Han Yu(768-824 AD)and made great achievements in literature.However,However,the achievements of Yao Sui did not change the headship of Ou-yang style.It was because the belief of"Dao"(the Way),i.e.,the belief of Neo Confucianism.No matter Ou-yang Xiu,or the famous Confucian scholars of the early Yuan era like Yao Shu and Xu Heng,all of them believed that the emphasis of literary style would be harmful to the"Dao".Therefore,all of them believed that article should be written in a simple style of literature.Yao Sui did not accept this view of literary style even though he got good practice in Neo Confucianism.Instead,he put forward the view that"the importance of the Way should be regarded as the priority of article,and the importance of the Way should be regarded as the importance of article."Yao Sui’s ideas of literature were deeply influenced by the late Jin literature scholars Yang Huan and Yuan Haowen who inherited the Jin’s Confucianism(Jin-Yuan,origin of Jin,i.e.,Jurchen-Jin Dynasy).As a figure in the Neo-Confucianism camp,his attachment to Jin Confucian idea"literature for the Way"exactly reflects the academic inclusion between the two camps of Confucianism in the Northern China during early Yuan era.
