元代《律苑事规》中所见的律寺管理与生活模式

《律苑事规》是元代乃至历代佛教清规文献中,唯一的律寺清规,目前学界对这部清规的研究很少。这部清规虽然是在禅寺清规基础上编订而成,但也有自己的律寺特色,如元代佛教的其他清规几乎都将对皇帝祝赞放在开篇,而这部清规却将寺院的戒律活动置于卷首。透过《律苑事规》,可以对元代律寺的管理模式和律僧的生活方式有基本了解,故这部清规有着非常重要的史料价值。这部清规文献完整地将元代律寺的生活方式呈现给我们,若没有这部文献,我们今天恐怕要爬梳相当多的其他资料,才能尽力还原当时律寺的生活图景。

Lvyuanshigui is the only Vinaya school temple qinggui(清规,monastic rules for Buddhists).There were very little studies about it.Based on the Chan temple qinggui,Lvyuanshigui was compiled,but there are also some own characteristics in the qinggui.For example,in the Chan temple qinggui or Tiantai temple qinggui,the first chapter is the blessing for the emperor,but in Lvyuanshigui,the opening is the description of the Vinaya ceremony.We can have a comprehension about the management and lifestyle of Vinaya school temple in the Yuan Dynasty from the Lvyuanshigui.There is a very important historical value about the qinggui.Maybe we should find many other texts to study the lifestyle of the Vinaya temple in Yuan Dynasty,if we do not have the literature.
