A Brief Discussion on the Developing Design Museums: Focusing on the Development Status of the Design Museums in Guangdong

设计博物馆作为一种机构力量在地区设计活动中具有重要作用。设计博物馆不仅关注当下的设计师、设计展览、设计思潮、设计作品和设计风格,还是普及设计文化的重要载体。文章基于博物馆学理论,结合设计学相关理论,简要梳理广东地区设计博物馆发展现状,分析本地区设计博物馆的类型,并探究其主要功能。希望通过对目前已有的设计博物馆案例的分析,为未来的设计博物馆发展提供建议和参考。

As an institutional force,the design museum plays an important role in regional design activities.It not only focuses on the current designers,design exhibitions,design trends,design works and design styles,but is also a substantial carrier for popularizing design culture.Based on the theory of museology and combined with the relevant theories of design science,this paper briefly sorts out the current development status of design museums in Guangdong,analyzes the various types of design museums in this area,and explores their main functions.By analyzing the existing cases of design museums,this paper hopes to provide suggestions and references for the development of future design museums.
