获得2017年美国全国图书奖的《唱啊,曝尸鬼,唱》用一种特殊的叙述手段讲述了美国历史上黑人的苦难历史,同时也直面现实生活中黑人的痛苦。小说沿袭了公路小说的传统,同时也借用了莫里森式的鬼魂人物的刻画方式,融现实与历史为一体,凸显当下美国社会依然存在的种族关系的紧张以及超越种族问题的可能性。

The novel Sing,Unburied,Sing,which won the 2017 National Book Award,reveals a historical period of sufferings of the black people in the US history,at the same time,it also directly points to the pains that afflict on them in reality.The novel follows the tradition of road novel and also incorporates in it the ghost character created by Morrison in her novel Beloved so as to integrate reality with history.In this way,the novel foregrounds the intense racial conflicts still permeating in American society at present and also explores the possibilities of transcending them.
