简析夏季开花的珍稀濒危杜鹃红山茶养护要点

杜鹃红山茶(Camellia azalea)属山茶科山茶属植物常绿小乔木,隶属红山茶组(Section Camellia),1986年在广东省阳春县的鹅凰嶂山上被人发现,因其四季常绿、夏季开花,被列为特有的"植物界大熊猫"。由于其花期的特殊性,近些年来广东棕榈园林公司把其作为父本成功杂交产生了1000个新品种——后代四季红山茶,已被茶花界作为园林配置广泛应用。本文从原种杜鹃红山茶养护要点出发,以期为杜鹃红山茶及其后代四季红山茶在园林苗木生产或家庭园艺栽培提供参考和借鉴。

Camellia azalea is a small evergreen tree belonging to the Camellia family,a member of the Section Camellia Group,it was discovered in 1986 on the Ehuang zhang Mountain in Yangchun,Guangdong Province,and is classified as a unique“giant panda in the flora”due to its perennial green and summer flowering.Because of the particularity of its flowering period,in recent years,Guangdong Palm Garden Company has successfully hybridized it as a male parent and produced 1000 new varieties of four-season Camellia,which has been widely used as garden disposition in Camellia field.In this paper,starting from the main points of the original species of Rhododendron Tea,in order to provide reference for the production of Rhododendron tea and its descendants in garden seedlings or home gardening cultivation.
