名人名园——蒋庄

蒋庄位于杭州西湖西南的花港观鱼公园内,是清末民国时期西湖边著名的私家庭园之一。1997年蒋庄被确立为浙江省省级文物保护单位。一代名园,吸引人的首先是建筑本身折射的时代气息、浸透着山水诗意的景观,而它的风骨、格调往往来自那些与园子有关的人物和他们的故事,这是一处古建筑的多元价值。本文旨在通过对建筑本体的介绍和对曾经在此居住的名人故事的探究来展示其蕴含的独特价值。

Jiang's garden is located in Huagang Park,at the southwestern part of the West Lake in Hangzhou.It was one of the most famous private gardens along the West Lake built in the late Qing Dynasty,and was established as a provincial cultural relic protection unit in 1997.The first attraction of a famous garden is the atmosphere of the times reflected by the building itself and the poetic landscape of the surrounding mountains and rivers.A more specific character and style comes from knowing more of those who are related to the garden and their stories.These are the core of the multiple values of an ancient site.This paper aims to show the unique value of the building through a description of its landscape features and built elements,and the exploration of the stories of the celebrated people who once inhabited it.
