The viewpoints in The Autobiographical Pact by Philippe Lejeune have influenced the research and creation of autobiographical works in France and even all over the world.The concepts of"autofiction"and"autobiographical space"are employed to undermine the boundary between autobiography and fiction from another perspective.In this stalemate,Modiano the winner of Nobel Prize for literature,interlaces the"I"with the characters,superimposes Paris in different periods on the urban coordinates and incorporates the memory of his father into his self-definition.On the whole,his works show the possibility of escaping from the traditional categories of autobiography and fiction and help us gain a new perspective.
