Dawn Blossoms Plucked At Dusk is Lu Xun’s reminiscence in his middle age,which shows his development from childhood to youth.It shows apparent characteristics of autobiographical literature.To the extent that the self is the focus of autobiographical literature and the selfconsciousness of the author determines all aspects of this genre,therefore we can perceive the image of Lu Xun in this book.Autobiographical literature contains the dual perspectives of"the acting self"and"the writing self".It is through a mixture of the two discursive forms,recalling discourse and present discourse,that the narrative characteristics of dual self-image are presented.The re-examination of the growth process,with his experience and value orientation,shows the process of Lu Xun’s continuous enrichment of personality.
