摘要
日本醍醐寺藏有兩種《孔雀經音義》古寫本(天永二年本(1111)、平安中期寫本)。其原本雖不存,但作爲古寫本,特色鮮明,可爲日本早期佛經音義之代表。本文將其與漢傳佛經音義加以比較,展開研究,以考察佛經音義在日本早期發展中所呈現出的一些特色。
Daigoji Temple in Kyoto,Japan,has two kinds of old ms.:the Sounds and Glosses to Kujakukyō(mid-Heian period,the 2nd year of Ten’ei,1111 AD).Although the originalms.isnolonger extant,the Ten’eims.displays lucid characteristics and can be regarded as representative pieces of the Buddhist scriptures in early Japan.This paper compares these two old ms.with the sounds and glosses to the traditional Buddhist scriptures in China,bringing to light a few characteristics that developed in the evolution of the sounds and glosses to the Buddhist scriptures in early Japan.
