语音科学的回顾与前瞻

Review and prospect of phonetic science

有声语言最为重要的功能是语言交际。文章从语音产生、语音传播以及语音感知三个领域总结以往语音科学所取得的标志性成果。文章也对语音科学的发展做出展望并指出:语音学要跨学科学习和研究;语音科学既是基础科学,也有很强的应用性;语音科学先从语音发声研究开始,其次是语音声学研究,现代语音科学的前沿领域是语音认知。文章最后指出语音学在汉语研究中的作用。

The most important function of spoken language is speech communication.This paper summarizes the landmark achievements of phonetic science from three fields:speech production,speech transmission and speech perception.This paper also gives a prospect for the development of phonetic science.It is pointed out that phonetics should be studied and researched across disciplines.Phonetic science is not only a basic science,but also has a strong application.Phonetic science began with the study of speech production,followed by the study of acoustic phonetics,and now the frontier of phonetic science is speech perception.Finally,it points out the role of phonetics in the study of Chinese language.
