A reanalysis of the information status of the topic following nixiang

乐耀(2010)关于"你像"后续话题成分信息状态的观点是前后不一致的,一方面认为表达旧信息,另一方面又认为表达新信息。文章认为,该成分既可表达旧信息,又可表达新信息,但主要表达可及信息,即处于新、旧信息之间的信息,这跟"你像"既是话题标记,又是举例标记的话语功能密切相关。

Yue Yao(2010)’s opinions about information states of topic expressions following nixiang are contradictory.In one place they are considered as old,in another place they are considered as new.This paper admits that some of these topic expressions are old,some of them are new.Yet,it advances to argue that most of them are accessible,an intermediate state between old and new,which derives naturally from the fact that nixiang is also an example marker.
