摘要
《字汇补》是清人吴任臣为增补《字汇》而编的一部大型字书。吴氏利用大量的字书、韵书及传世文献,为《字汇》增补字头达一万两千多个。然而吴氏一人精力毕竟有限,加之所引文献数目繁多,版本情况参差不齐,因此这些新增字的字形、注音、释义中存在大量的传刻失误与编纂失误。文章考释了《字汇补》一书中的十二则疑难字,沟通了部分疑难字的字际关系,纠正了《汉语大字典》中的一些失误。
Zihuibu(字汇补)is a large-scale character book compiled by Wu Renchen in the Qing Dynasty to supplement Zihui(字汇).Wu Renchen added more than 12,000 words to Zihui by referring to a large number of Chinese dictionaries,rhyme books and other literature.Yet,Wu Renchen’s energy and knowledge are limited.In addition to the large number of documents he cited and the complicated editing,there are many errors in the graphemes,rhyme categories and meanings of his newly added words.This paper interprets twelve difficult words in Zihuibu(字汇补),sorts the relationship between some knotty Chinese characters,and corrects some mistakes in the Great Chinese Dictionary.
