Subway construction is a vital part of modern urban development, which creates good conditions for people to travel normally. In recent years, its construction scale has shown a trend of gradual expansion. Based on the current situation of urban subway construction in China, this paper briefly expounds the research background, introduces the application principle and construction technology of artificial freezing method. Besides, from application points and optimization strategy, the application of artificial freezing method in the foundation treatment of urban subway construction is analyzed in detail, in order to provide references for relevant researchers.
