One of the major non-Western art collecting institution in the West,the Musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac stemmed from royal collections and items related to colonialism.As the artefacts had increasingly been viewed from an artistic perspective,a new museum highly supported by a French president came into being and became an architectural landmark of Paris.The rich collection has been presented with creative museographic devices.
