Construction of Basic Data Platform of Digital Canal in Digital Humanities Era

近十几年来,随着数字人文的飞速发展,传统运河研究面临严峻的挑战,开展“数字运河”研究是运河学学科发展的必由之路和必然选择。“数字运河”是综合运用各种信息技术构建的全流域多要素一体化综合数字集成平台和虚拟环境,及由此衍生出的一整套数字人文环境下重新定义和回答运河学学术问题和现实关切的新方法、新手段和新范式,最终为运河学的学科发展及流域开发、保护与管理提供数据支撑和智力支持。

The rapid development of Digital Humanities in recent ten years has brought severe challenges to the traditional canal research.Digital canal is the only way and inevitable choice for the development of canal science.Digital canal is a comprehensive digital integration platform and virtual environment of multi elements integration in the whole basin,which is constructed by using various information technologies.It’s also means a set of new methods,new means and new paradigms are derived to redefine and answer canal academic questions and realistic concerns under the digital humanistic environment,and ultimately provide data support and intellectual support for the discipline development of canal science.
