云冈石窟是计划性和完整性有机统一的大型文化艺术作品,有着完整统一的多元化艺术表现。主要包括这样几方面:大像汇聚与佛陀帝王象征;人物造像多元合璧;"三世佛"与弥勒信仰;云冈双窟耀辉煌;般若涅槃映佛塔;乐舞乐器多元化。最终形成融中西文化于一炉的佛教石窟艺术典范——"云冈模式"。

Yungang Grottoes are large-scale cultural and artistic works of organic unity of planning and integrity,with complete and unified diversified artistic expression.The following aspects are covered:the convergence of statues and the emperor symbol of Buddha;the diversified combination of figures and statues;the“three Buddhas”and the belief of Maitreya in Buddhism;the glory of Yungang Grottoes;the Buddhist pagoda reflecting Prajna Nirvana;the diversification of music and dance instruments.And finally,a Buddhist grotto art model,“Yungang model”integrating Chinese and Western cultures is formed.
